Deeper within, real Shetland wool and cotton contribute thermal mass and movement absorption before it reaches the spring unit.
The three-layer hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system in a King size (150 x 200cm) houses 3,366 independently responding springs, enabling precise body mapping without transferring motion. Six rows of hand side-stitching secure the springs at the edge to maintain consistent support from center to perimeter. Hand-tufting with woollen tufts and twine keeps the upholstery layers evenly distributed, preventing filling migration for the life of the mattress.
